Peaceful Roots Counseling is dedicated to helping people break free from painful and habitual ways of thinking, feeling, and acting in order to heal and find peace. Counseling and yoga services address the interconnected processes of the mind, body, and brain. By learning to integrate all aspects of ourselves, we find balance.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, located in Tampa, Florida. I graduated from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts in 2012 with my Master’s Degree in Social Work. I am licensed in Massachusetts, Florida, and Pennsylvania, and have been working in the social services field for the last 12 years.
I started Peaceful Roots Counseling as a way to unite my deep and lifelong desire to help others with my passion for the philosophy of yoga.
I have always been a compassionate and hardworking person, dedicated to bettering the world around me. I began volunteering in hospitals and shelters when I was in elementary school and started working in the social services field as soon as I completed my undergraduate studies.
I have worked in a variety of environments, including schools, inpatient and outpatient settings, and with a diverse population, ranging from very young children to the elderly.
In addition to being trained and licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, I have over 500 hours of training in yoga philosophy and instruction and am a registered Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance.
